On this site you’ll find all the material relating to worship from the previous site plus some Free Resources AND… you can check out ‘One Step Ahead Preaching’ which will be available from May 2009. Like its predecessor it aims to inspire and enable churches to run their services more effectively.

The big difference with the preaching kit is that Steve Worsley fronts as the ‘interviewer’ rather than the ‘expert’. Steve interviews nine highly respected NZ preachers from across the denominations, including Paul Windsor, Brad Carr, Geoff New and Michael Duncan.

Interview questions include things like: How can we improve our story telling and illustrations? How can we make background information sound compelling? How can we best motivate people toward change? What is lacking most in preaching today? The participant guide follows the same format with inspiring quotes from preachers past and present and questions for group discussion or personal reflection.
